New Van … maybe?

Back in March, I placed an order for a new 2022 Chevrolet Express 3500 Extended Cargo Van.  The order was accepted by GM (a miracle in and of itself these days!), and was completed around May 17th.

It’s been sitting at the manufacturing plant in Missouri “awaiting dispatch” ever since.

So, hopefully before I grow old & die it’ll be delivered to the dealer so I can pick it up and have my way with it.  (I’ll be posting an update the day it finally arrives.)

Y’all stay safe out there!

Update: I waited 81 days for my new van to be delivered.

  1. If I wasn’t working full time right now, I would drive to Missouri and pick it up for you. That would give me an excuse to see my daughter and son-in-law in Texas.😊
Thinking good thoughts for you and for a speedy delivery.
    Have a great day!!!

  2. Hey Kevin why won’t they let you pick it up? That’s just nasty! Did you actually put money on it? Because if you did that gives you rights. Have you contacted the BBB?

    • I won’t own it until the dealer receives it in their inventory, which is when they can legally sell it to me. Until then, it’s owned by GM, regardless of any deposit I placed on it.
