Solar Gear
A number of people have been asking me about what I have in the way of parts for the solar setup, so I figured I’d list the major components here for easy reference.
If you want to learn the ins & outs of solar power, I can’t recommend Will Prowse enough. Not only is his book an Amazon bestseller in like 12 categories and multiple countries, it has all the information you need with no fluff or BS. Also, his YouTube channel (“DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse”) is a must for learning all this stuff. He even has a forum if you want to ask questions.

I used all copper lugs for the wiring (Windy Nation copper cable is awesome, and they’re on Amazon), along with MBRF fuses on the batteries. Misc fuses & circuit breakers for everything else.
